The Audio Quran by Fares Abbad is a free Android application developed by AMSApps that contains the complete Quran Karim recited by Sheikh Fares Abbad in high-quality MP3 audio format. The app offers the option to either stream or download the files to your device. All files are streamed from the internet, and if downloaded, the app will serve the audio file directly from your device. The app automatically stops the audio when you receive a call. You can also share the audio files by pressing long and selecting share.
The app is ad-supported, but it does not have any annoying push ads. When you exit the app while an audio file is still playing, a small music note appears in the notification bar, allowing you to get back to the app and either stop or change the station. The app is not listed in the Task Manager. Sheikh Fares Abbad is a Quran reciter from Yemen and was recruited as the Imam of Sheikh Abder Razak Afifi Mosque located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1425.
